BOYS, 12x12 wood panel, acrylic paints collage, painted 2025

It is about the societal disruption that has occurred and how people are so confused whether they trans community is on the right track. Just the utter confusion from past times. Since baby boomers things were a lot simpler and now they’re very complicated. So I just figured I tried to make a piece that represented the confusion. The fear of the LGBT community.

Question:
It seems like there was something going on in your life or something that you saw that caused you to decide to create this painting, was there a motor rating force or was there just something that was reactive and that you were thinking about and you just had to get it down?
No, there was nothing going on in my life. I was just well I’ve always that we have masculine and feminine as part of our humanity. Anyway, I understand when people decide that they have never been happy because this is not my body and I want to be a male or female and how difficult it is for past generations to understand. Basically that’s what it was nothing to do with personality. Just my thoughts on the subject.

Question:
Does what appears to be a brownie and juxtaposed to a face of the child and above it the sky and part of a naked woman and and I voted sticker. Does this all means something to you other than just people‘s rights or your own feelings? What does it mean to you in your own life?
It’s a revolution. It’s turn society upside down. It’s a completely different world and also societies are fighting against these particular waves of living because it’s scary to them. Anything new is scary.

Question;
Was that your little I voted sticker from the past election?
Yes, OK why is it? Why is it in there?
You either vote for change or you vote for the same old same old and I think the world is all about change and that’s why we are having such a hard time of it.
